Sierra

I have been fascinated with the Sierra Nevada mountain range for long time. Its name literally means ‘snowy mountains’ so to say its name and description is really redundant. And it should never be called The Sierras. As Ansel Adams once said, “To add an ‘s is a linguistic, Californian and mountaineering sin.”
